Petaluma's pothole & asphalt "issues" just won't go away! Somehow, Kentucky Fried Chicken got into the story and Paul Kelley, Chairman of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors has issued an amazing letter to the Mayors of Sonoma County.

I once suggested melting down abandoned shopping carts to fill potholes. Turns out that "reality" far exceeded my fanciful suggestion--KFC offers to fill potholes and MIT invents electricity generating shock absorber.

Recently, Safeway in Petaluma installed the Carttronics system which prevents the easy removal of the carts from the parking lot. Safeway shoppers should note the electronic boot on the front left wheel...

THREE LITTLE CARTS...A tale of 3

I long ago gave up documenting and writing about Petaluma's abandoned shopping carts...for reasons of exhaustion, if nothing else. However, from time to time I encounter cart scenes worthy of a few words.
