As a follow-up to The Cat's Meow...Felines In The Habitat I offer the story of "Fatcat" (Yes, that's his name) who lives across the street from the Habitat.
Fatcat got the word from other felines in the 'Hood to check out the catmint. And so he did--getting a feline high. Here is his story as captured on camera...
Hey! Gotta check this out...

Ah, yes...(purring loudly)...for medicinal purposes only...

Gotta check this one out also...

So many to choose from...

Will someone please carry me home?

Comment: Hey Frank, those pics are great! What a sweet cat. That helicopter kept me awake last night -- let us know if you find out what they were looking for! Thanks.
Response: I'll respond to the helicopter question in a separate e-mail. I did discuss it in an e-mail I sent to the local neighborhood. As to Fatcat--he is more than content at the moment.

Comment: Wait a minute, that looks a lot like my cat, Marley, now what's he doing over that side of town looking for trouble in all the right places? Must keep better tabs on him!
Response: Sorry, it was Fatcat. I recognize the purr. We've catset for him from time to time. Finally, we have a "tool" to manage him!! Just a whiff of catmint and he is a...real pussycat. Marley is more than welcome--however, he must bring a note from his Vet. Otherwise the DEA may be on my case.

About this blog
Frank Simpson
Frank Simpson is a community observer who comments on scenes or conditions in Petaluma's public areas, streets and neighborhoods. Occasionally, articles are written by (or about the adventures of) The EVEL Twins (Triplets?): Boris--Frank's EVEL Twin and ACE PINS Photographer; Igor--Boris' EVEL Twin & The Real Prince Of Darkness; and Ivan--The Source Before Darkness & Light. The EVEL Twins are sometimes joined by ZELDA--The Real Queen of Mean. Recently, the Twins (two plus one) and Zelda packed their bags and "caught the last train for the coast"...never to be heard from again. However, they do check in from time to time. Fortunately, the Petaluma Fowl & Wildlife Consortium has stepped in to fill the void created by their departure.
